HALL Wines “Cabernet Cookoff” Charity Event

HALL Cabernet Cookoff at HALL Winery In Saint Helena! One of the most popular, celebrated food and wine charity events in Napa Valley returns for its fourteenth year on April 22nd, to be held again at HALL Winery, hosted by proprietor / Vintner Kathryn Hall. This exciting event is one of the most competitive food and wine pairing competitions in the wine regions of California.

The event features an impressive line-up of renowned culinary teams who vie for a chance to win proceeds for a charity of their choice with their participation in this highly anticipated food and wine pairing competition. The Cabernet Cookoff committee invites teams from all over the country to create a dish that pairs with a HALL Cabernet Sauvignon to benefit the charity of their choice. In addition, 100% of the ticket proceeds benefit non-profit organizations that the teams of the winning chef have selected.

Each year for the past 14 years of this recognized event, a panel of celebrity judges and hundreds of attending food and wine enthusiasts vote in this highly ambitious competition for the very best pairings. A star-studded panel of celebrity judges will taste the pairings to vote for two Judges Choice Awards. Four winners will be announced – two People’s Choice Awards and two Judges’ Choice Awards.

Chef teams are tasked with creating a small dish they feel pairs best with 2020 HALL Jack’s Masterpiece Cabernet Sauvignon, a highly-rated wine that has earned praise from the wine industry’s top critics.
